What is the Best Way to Meditate, meditation comes with numerous benefits. It not only helps to lower your stress and anxiety but also enhances your overall well-being. It also helps you to sleep better, improves focus, along with keeping you healthy.

Meditators can control their mind and body in a better way, as compared to a person who doesn’t meditate. Many serious meditators have either sought refuge in an isolated place that is far from the hustle-bustle of the city. The persons who lead a busy schedule, like balancing work-life family, are devoting their time to meditating because of its immense benefits. However, the fact is that only a few people know the correct ways of meditation.

Let us find out how to meditate through best practices.

Play daily

Choose the Perfect Time and Place – The best time to meditate in the morning is 4.a.m. and 4 p.m. in the evening. The reason for this is that this time is considered to be the best time to meditate since the earth and the sun come at an angle of 60 degrees. This creates a perfect balance of your pineal and pituitary glands.

Select an isolated place that is far away from any sounds or disturbances. Try avoiding a crowded place. If you are living nearby a park or surrounded by nature, try to make full use of it.

Wear Comfortable Clothing – Apart from choosing the right time and place for meditating, you should wear some comfortable clothes. Although you can wear anything you like, it is best to wear comfortable clothes. Uncomfortable clothes will not help your cause and hence will keep your mind wandering here and there. Thus, for gaining positive results from your meditation, you should wear some light and comfortable clothes.

Sit in an Upright Position – Another major aspect of making your meditation successful is to sit in an upright position. Sitting on a floor for your meditation is considered to be the ideal position, no matter how stereotypical it may sound. Beginners may choose any sitting position they like as they like sitting in an upright chair to find peace and to familiarize themselves with meditation. If you are choosing to sit on a floor, keep your back and neck straight in an upright position, place your hands on your knees and close your eyes to meditate. Stay focused – It is also important to stay focus during your meditation. Every person meditates for a specific objective or purpose, and so will be yours. Try to build your focus day by day, and increase it gradually over time. Within a month you can see the difference, and you will be a changed person.
