Congratulations Post on all the success and recent victories, I must confess I did not know you until recently when I watched your interview in Jimmy Fallon’s show. I have heard your music before when the kids were playing it loud and I thought just another rapper no big deal.
All my life I have been into rock, mostly 70, 80, and early 90s. and life was good, back in 2007 I was introduced but a group of magical kids to EDM and I felt an amazing connection with it and life was good. I like what I saw in Jimmy’s show and your whole deal with Bud was super cool. I like ROCKSTAR a lot, but still was not paying much attention to your work.
The other day Pandora was playing your style and I could swear I heard Ozzy’s voice in one of your songs, I could not believe my ears, the Prince of D. itself was singing with you, I started to play more attention, then on the latest award show I saw your singing with Ozzy and that did it, you made my personal list, still growing into the hiphop style, but somedays I can see it how hiphop can be added to my daily music experience.
Congratulations on all your hard work, I got all your albuns from Amazon Music Unlimited service, hope they are getting you share $$$ correctly, in conclusion, your association with Bud was a great start, but the song with Ozzy, in my opinion opened the door to the a generation of 50+ old folks who had no idea who you are.
I don’t pretend to represent all older folks here but “I want to believe” (Fox) that like you touched me, you may have touched other folks from my generation, I hope you keep an open eye for new older songs, “Still Lovin you – Scorpions” with you style will sound amazing, “Welcome to the Jungle – Gun’s’Roses”will also be excellent, and if you feeling a little crazy why now “I love it Loud – by KISS”, there are some great musical jewels from the past that can take a new life with your magical touch, congratulations Post Malone, your won!!!.
